People’s Emergency Briefing (film)

The climate and nature crisis threatens every aspect of British life, from national security to the food supply, and yet there has been no comprehensive national emergency briefing delivered to the public by the government. Presented by Chris Packham this 50-minute film combines authoritative scientific content with reactions from members of the public and some more familiar faces – designed to help audiences process the information on a more human level. It will deliver the frank facts about the threats, but also the enormous benefits if Government leads genuine emergency action.

The screening will be followed by a discussion and a sharing of ideas on potential ways forward at a local level. We have also sent invitations to Scaynes Hill MP, Mims Davies, and to our local councillors, to attend as fellow participants.
