For all children up to Year 6 with their parents/carers there will be Lego, Games, Craft Activities, Bible Stories, Tasty Hot Meal and Delicious Dessert.  This month the theme is 'Angels'. This year Lindfield Bonfire Society is holding its celebration on Wednesday 5th November. The evening of our free-to-attend celebration starts with a torchlight procession around Lindfield, which heads onto the Common for the reading of the Bonfire Prayer and then the lighting of the bonfire. We would like to wish everyone in Scaynes Hill a very Happy Christmas.  May you all enjoy the day, hopefully surrounded by family and friends.  Have a thought for any neighbours who might be on their own over Christmas - pop in to say hello and a chat to show they are not forgotten.

Come and join the annual village Barn Dance.  This is a not-for-profit event and tickets include a pizza (margherita, chicken, pepperoni or vegetarian) to keep you going but bring your own drinks and glasses.  There will also be the usual raffle. Scaynes Hill Community Choir welcomes new members who love to sing. We are a friendly and informal choir, no previous experience is necessary and all ages from 7+ to 70+ are welcome. Children under 11 should be accompanied by an adult (preferably a singing one!) and men are especially welcome.

Anchor Coffee Shop in the church annexe open every Tuesday morning for freshly brewed coffee, selection of teas or fruit juices and home baking in a friendly atmosphere.  It's a great place to meet up with friends and also very child friendly having plenty to offer babies and toddlers including play mats, highchairs and toys.
