DESCRIPTION:This year Lindfield Bonfire Society is holding its celebration on Wednesday 5th November. \nThe evening of our free-to-attend celebration starts with a torchlight procession around Lindfield\, which heads onto the Common for the reading of the Bonfire Prayer and then the lighting of the bonfire. We finish the evening with our grand firework display.  the event is FREE but please do make a donation to one of our collectors on the night. \nProgramme of Events* \n7.00pm – Procession form up – outside of The Standup Inn\, Lindfield High Street\n7.30pm – Torchlight Procession – through the village\n8.30pm – Lighting of the Bonfire – preceded by the Traditional Bonfire Prayer\n8.45pm – Grand Firework Display – on Lindfield Common\n9.00pm – End of show\n*All timings are approximate and subject to weather conditions.

DESCRIPTION:As individual artists Nigel and Julie have both had long established experience recording and performing Celtic-influenced music at home and abroad. Working together as a married couple since 2014\, they have recorded six ‘Celtish’ albums and have traveled extensively\, sometimes with other musicians\, using ‘Celtish’ as their band name. \nThey play a range of upbeat and reflective music\, instrumentals\, original songs and familiar lyrics set to timeless melodies. DESCRIPTION:Everyone is cordially invited to join us for the annual lighting of the village Christmas tree on Saturday 29th November at 4.30 pm – please see attached flyer. \nWe will start proceedings by serving free hot dogs and this will be followed by the grand switch-on of the lights with some carols around the tree. \nAfter this\, we will move back inside where there will be stalls to enjoy and mulled wine and mince pies and treats for children will be served. \nWe would love to see you at this lovely start to the Christmas season – everyone is very welcome.
