DESCRIPTION:Lindfield Rural Parish Council (LRPC) is the closest tier of local government to residents of Scaynes Hill\, Walstead and part of Lindfield.  All members of the public are entitled to attend LRPC meetings and are cordially invited by the Council to do so. Time will be set aside prior to the published agenda to enable any questions from the public about Council business and informal discussion to take place.  The rest of the meeting is in public but members of the public cannot speak during this time. \nThe Agenda can be seen 3 days before the meeting at https://lindfieldrural-pc.gov.uk/category/agendas/

SUMMARY:Lindfield Village Day
DESCRIPTION:Celebrating its 48th year in 2026\, the event expects to include the following: over 130 stalls on the Common\, the RTFJ Stage\, featuring four amazing live musical acts\, a children’s dog show\, a tasty Food & Drink Quarter\, now renamed ‘Live Hub’ (also on the Common)\, soft play area and an arena for events/games during the afternoon.  The Firing of the Anvil on the Common at noon will kick off proceedings and the start procession from Hickmans Lane Playing Field down the High Street – featuring hundreds of villagers making their way to the Common.  Do come along and join in the fun. \nPlease note that like last year there will be no parking on the Common\, except for disabled Blue Badge holders\, who will be able to park on the Lewes Road side.  However\, this year there will be a free Park and Ride situated at Great Walstead School on East Mascalls Lane (RH16 2QL).
