Do you want to reduce your carbon footprint? Would you like to encourage biodiversity in your garden? Do you want to cut down on single use plastics? Join us for a day of inspiration and encouragement to live more sustainably on Saturday 21st September, 10am – 4pm at St Augustine’s Church in Scaynes Hill.
There will be lots to do and see, including: apple pressing, eco re-fills, talks on bees, coffee, wormeries and flour milling, electric car chat with people with first-hand experience of driving them, Burgess Hill Shed – community craft workshop, children’s craft activities, displays and an ideas board to share practical tips on living more sustainably, renewable energy phone charging, and refreshments including light lunches and cakes.
Fill Good Store eco refills van ‘Martha’ will be parked outside the church from 10.30 for at least an hour. Bring your containers to fill with store cupboard and household goods from the van or just have a browse and find out more. https://www.fillgoodstore.co.uk/
Bring apples to press if you have them, plastic bottles for the juice (500 ml is great), ideas to share and space for some refreshments. See you there!
