The annual spring flower show took place on March 23rd. We had over 200 entries in classes ranging from cookery, art and children’s classes. Despite the recent wet weather, there was a good showing of daffodils, shrubs and fruit and veg in the horticulture section, and spring flowers featured in some beautiful floral art. Excellent tea and cakes were provided by the Scaynes Hill W.I, while the raffle and plant sale were as popular as ever. Funds raised from the raffle will be shared between St Peter and St James Hospice, and the Monday Funday group at the church. Thanks to everyone who entered, helped and came along on the day- you all contributed to making the show a great success .
